the most part, “Sinned Against” was a rather slow episode for “Empire” standards.
They’ve been that way for the last few weeks. Next Wednesday will be the final
episode until the end of March and there’s not a whole lot of momentum built as
of now; the stakes don’t feel as high as they once were. But maybe that’ll
change.
